AAUP-OSU Supports Student Activists

AAUP-Ohio State is a signatory to this statement calling for OSU to drop the disciplinary charges against undergraduate students with Ohio Youth for Climate Justice (OHYCJ), who engaged in a protest on January 25, 2024. As per the statement, we ask the university to “commit  to upholding the right to freedom of speech and assembly on Ohio State’s campus” and to take “immediate steps to divest OSU’s endowment from israeli companies, international companies on  the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction (BDS) list, and the fossil fuel industry.”
